SportCV is owned and operated by Green Roads LLC, a California limited liability company, doing business as SportCV. In this Privacy Policy, “SportCV,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Green Roads LLC. Effective July 10, 2026; clarified August 30, 2026.

1. Scope, operator, and California/USA operation

Green Roads LLC, doing business as SportCV, operates the SportCV website, athlete-profile tools, parent/guardian dashboards, search tools, media sections, contact-request features, messages, requester tools, and related services from California, United States.

This Privacy Policy describes SportCV’s information practices for users who access or use the service. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights or restrictions may apply. Green Roads LLC is the business, controller, or operator responsible for SportCV information where those legal terms apply. SportCV may limit features or availability in jurisdictions where additional legal requirements or transfer safeguards are not yet supported.

2. Information we collect

SportCV collects information you provide directly, information created through your use of the platform, and technical information from your device or browser.

Account and identity information

  • Name, email, phone number, password or login credentials, account type, parent/guardian details, communication preferences, and records showing acceptance of Terms, privacy acknowledgements, profile certifications, and parental-consent records.
  • For coaches, scouts, clubs, schools, or organizations: organization name, role, verification details, business contact details, and professional relationship information.

Athlete profile information

  • Athlete name, public slug, sport, primary role, team/club, country, nationality, general location, age or date of birth, gender selection—including “Not shared”—started-at age, experience, height, weight, skills, achievements, development timeline, statistics, photos, videos, and other profile fields the athlete or parent/guardian chooses to provide.
  • Gender is optional. Selecting “Not shared” means no gender is disclosed on the athlete profile.
  • For youth athletes, parent/guardian approval, parental-consent records, contact settings, visibility settings, and safety controls.

Media and user content

  • Profile photos, gallery photos, highlight videos or links, uploaded images, captions, achievements, notes, documents, and other content you add.

Contact and messaging information

  • Contact requests, messages, sender and recipient details, timestamps, safety reports, verification requests, approvals, declines, blocks, and responses.

Technical and usage information

  • IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, approximate location derived from device or IP, pages viewed, search/filter activity, error logs, cookies or similar technologies, and security or fraud signals.
SportCV limits unnecessary sensitive information from minors. Public youth profiles do not display exact home addresses, private phone numbers, private emails, exact school or practice schedules, exact dates of birth, or other unnecessary private details.

3. How we use information

SportCV may use information to:

  • Create, display, edit, and manage athlete profiles.
  • Operate search, filters, dashboards, messages, media galleries, and contact request features.
  • Support youth safety, parent/guardian controls, and profile visibility settings.
  • Verify coaches, scouts, clubs, schools, organizations, or “Verified by Coach” requests.
  • Send account, safety, verification, notification, and support messages.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, spam, scraping, fake accounts, unsafe contact, and misuse.
  • Improve design, performance, accessibility, product features, and user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, and protect users and SportCV.

4. Public profiles and visibility

SportCV is built around shareable athlete profiles. Profile information may be public or visible to other users according to account type, profile settings, search visibility, and parent/guardian controls.

Public or searchable profile information may include athlete name, profile slug, sport, role, general location, team/club, nationality, gender selection when disclosed, started-at age, height, weight, skills, achievements, photos, and videos. Adult profiles may also display exact age when the adult enables that setting.

For every athlete under 18, SportCV keeps date of birth and exact age private and publicly displays only one of these two-year bands: Age Group 6–7, Age Group 8–9, Age Group 10–11, Age Group 12–13, Age Group 14–15, or Age Group 16–17. The parent or legal guardian controls profile visibility and media. Private contact information and exact schedules are not displayed publicly.

5. Youth privacy, parent control, and children under 13

SportCV currently supports athlete profiles for ages 6 and older. Athlete profiles for ages 6–17 must be created and managed through a parent or legal guardian account. The adult creating or managing a youth profile represents that they are the athlete’s parent or legal guardian, have authority to act for the athlete, and have the rights and permissions needed for submitted information and media.

  • Under-18 athletes: Youth profiles must be created and managed through a parent or legal guardian account. Exact date of birth and exact age are kept private on public youth profiles.
  • Children ages 6–12: Children under 13 may not independently create an account, submit personal information, or manage a profile. Before SportCV creates an under-13 profile, the parent is shown a direct notice and must complete SportCV’s parental-consent process. SportCV does not currently permit athlete profiles for children under age 6.
  • Parental verification: SportCV’s current consent record is tied to an authenticated parent account and electronic signature. Where applicable law requires verifiable parental consent or a different verification standard, SportCV may require additional steps reasonably designed to confirm parent/legal-guardian identity or authority before collection, use, or public disclosure is permitted.
  • Electronic consent records: SportCV may collect the parent’s full name, relationship to the athlete, account email, electronic signature, consent choices, policy versions, profile ID, date and time, IP address, user agent, and a unique consent reference. SportCV may create cryptographic hashes covering the signed consent wording and related audit fields so later changes can be detected.
  • Signature protection and retention: Raw drawn-signature data, if collected, is classified as restricted sensitive information, excluded from normal website and API responses, and available only through restricted administrative processes. Typed-signature text is not stored separately from the authenticated account-name record. SportCV’s current operational default may retain raw drawn-signature evidence for up to seven years when reasonably necessary for the consent/compliance purpose, subject to earlier deletion or redaction when it is no longer reasonably necessary, a different legal requirement, an approved retention decision, a safety matter, or a legal hold. A signature hash, consent reference, canonical integrity record, and minimum compliance record may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or record-integrity purposes.
  • Separate public-display choice: Consent to collection and private profile management is separate from public-display authorization. Search, sharing, public media display, and contact/request controls remain locked unless public-display authorization is recorded and applicable requirements are satisfied.
  • Withdrawal: A parent may withdraw consent through the parent account. Withdrawal hides the profile from public access and stops further public use while deletion or limited-retention requirements are processed.
  • Parent rights: Parents and legal guardians may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent for a youth athlete’s information, subject to identity/authority verification and lawful retention requirements.
  • Contact controls: Requests involving minors are routed through parent/guardian controls or SportCV-controlled messaging.
  • Safety actions: SportCV may hide content, restrict contact, preserve limited records, suspend accounts, or report information when reasonably necessary to address safety, exploitation, abuse, fraud, or legal compliance.

An electronic signature or authenticated account record does not prevent SportCV from requiring additional parent/legal-guardian verification. An under-13 profile remains restricted unless the required consent, authorization, and verification requirements applicable to the profile are satisfied.

6. How information may be disclosed

SportCV may disclose information in the following circumstances:

  • Public profiles and other users: Profile information visible according to profile and privacy settings.
  • Parents/guardians: Youth athlete account, safety, visibility, contact, and profile information.
  • Sports-related requesters: Profile and request details when permitted by settings, approvals, and safety rules.
  • Service providers: Hosting, storage, email, analytics, security, support, payments, and other vendors that process information to operate SportCV under contractual or legal obligations.
  • Legal and safety purposes: To comply with law, enforce the Terms, respond to legal process, prevent harm, investigate misuse, protect users, or protect Green Roads LLC and SportCV.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, assignment, or transfer of SportCV assets to an affiliate, successor, or newly formed SportCV company. The recipient will assume applicable privacy obligations for transferred information.

SportCV currently does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable California privacy law, and SportCV does not knowingly sell or share personal information belonging to minors for those purposes. If SportCV’s practices materially change, this Policy and any legally required notices or opt-out controls will be updated before or when the changed practice begins, as required by applicable law.

7. California privacy rights

California residents may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about categories of personal information collected, used, disclosed, sold, or shared, subject to identity verification, legal exceptions, and whether a particular California privacy law applies to Green Roads LLC.

SportCV does not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights. SportCV currently does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Accordingly, SportCV does not currently provide a separate “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism. If SportCV begins a practice that creates an applicable opt-out right, SportCV will provide the required notice and control.

Submit a privacy request through the SportCV Support page or email privacy@sportcv.com. Green Roads LLC may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity, account ownership, or parent/legal-guardian authority.

8. International users and processing in the United States

If you access SportCV from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other locations where SportCV or its service providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws in your country.

Where applicable law requires a specific legal basis, transfer safeguard, additional notice, or other protection for international processing, SportCV will apply the requirement when it applies or may limit the affected feature or service until the requirement can be supported. Simply using SportCV does not waive rights that applicable law does not permit you to waive.

9. EU/EEA/UK and similar privacy rights

Users in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other locations with similar privacy laws may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection to certain processing, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent. They may also have the right to complain to an appropriate data-protection or supervisory authority.

Where those laws apply, Green Roads LLC acts as the SportCV controller for information it determines the purposes and means of processing. Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary to provide requested services, protect legitimate interests such as platform security and fraud prevention, comply with legal obligations, protect users, or rely on consent where consent is the appropriate legal basis.

Privacy requests may be submitted through the SportCV Support page or to privacy@sportcv.com. Some rights may be limited by verification requirements, legal exceptions, safety obligations, or other lawful grounds. SportCV does not represent that every feature is available in every jurisdiction.

10. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

SportCV may use cookies, local storage, analytics, log data, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, improve performance, understand usage, detect abuse, and secure the service.

If SportCV uses non-essential cookies, advertising pixels, or advanced analytics, the website may need a cookie notice, consent controls, or opt-out choices depending on user location and final data practices.

11. Security

Green Roads LLC maintains administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards reasonably designed for the nature of SportCV information, including access controls, account protections, secure hosting practices, and abuse monitoring.

No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. SportCV cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure will never occur. Users must protect passwords, devices, account access, and login credentials and promptly report suspicious activity.

12. Data retention

SportCV retains different categories of information for different purposes and does not intend to keep personal information indefinitely without a continuing reason. Account and profile information may be retained while an account or profile remains active and for a reasonable period afterward when necessary to complete deletion, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, enforce the Terms, protect safety, maintain security, satisfy legal obligations, or preserve required records.

  • Youth information: Personal information collected for an under-13 athlete should be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the specific purpose for which it was collected, subject to lawful safety, legal-hold, dispute, or compliance needs.
  • Consent and legal records: SportCV may retain minimum evidence of parental consent, policy acceptance, withdrawals, safety decisions, and related integrity records longer than ordinary profile content when reasonably necessary to demonstrate authorization, protect users, prevent fraud, or comply with law.
  • Media and profile content: Deleted or withdrawn content may be removed from public display promptly and then deleted, isolated, or aged out of operational systems and backups according to SportCV’s documented deletion and backup procedures.
  • Messages, requests, security, and abuse records: Limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary to investigate safety reports, defend against abuse, maintain platform security, or resolve disputes.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary for an authorized purpose, SportCV will delete, de-identify, redact, or otherwise dispose of it using measures appropriate to the nature of the information and applicable law.

13. Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on your account type, location, and applicable law, you may be able to:

  • Access, update, or correct account and profile information.
  • Change profile visibility and contact settings.
  • Remove photos, videos, achievements, or profile sections.
  • Request deletion of an account or profile.
  • Request a copy of certain personal information.
  • Opt out of certain emails or notifications.
  • For parents/guardians, request review, correction, deletion, or restriction of a youth athlete’s information.

SportCV may need to verify your identity, account ownership, or parent/guardian authority before completing a request.

14. Third-party links and video platforms

SportCV profiles may include links to third-party services such as video platforms, social links, club/team websites, or external resources. Those third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies. SportCV is not responsible for how third parties collect or use information.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as SportCV evolves. If changes are important, we may provide notice through the website, account dashboard, email, or another reasonable method. Continued use of SportCV after changes means the updated Privacy Policy applies.

Private information and SportCV request flows

SportCV is designed so athletes can be discovered without publicly exposing sensitive private information. Private phone numbers, private emails, home addresses, exact school or practice schedules, and direct access to under-18 athletes are not displayed publicly or shared automatically.

Sports-related requesters may submit a request through SportCV. Depending on the athlete’s age and settings, the athlete, parent, or legal guardian may approve, decline, archive, block, or report the request. Green Roads LLC does not guarantee the identity, intentions, conduct, or legitimacy of every requester or opportunity.

16. Contact and children’s privacy requests

For privacy questions, safety concerns, youth-profile requests, parental access/deletion requests, or other data-rights requests, contact Green Roads LLC through the SportCV Support page or email privacy@sportcv.com. General support is available at support@sportcv.com.
